Old Fashion Sugar Cookies Baking Mix These delicious Sugar Cookies have been a family favorite for years. DIRECTIONS (Cookie): Add 1/2 of the cookie mix (large bag) with 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoon of soft butter (room temp). Blend with a fork. Add 1 large egg and 1 1/4 tbs of water. Blend. Add 2nd half of mix. Blend well. Form into a ball. Put 1/2 of the ball on a floured surface, knead a bit and sprinkle with flour. (If dough is too sticky, refrigerate fo 15 min.) Roll out to 1/4" thick and cut with cookie cutters. Repeat with other half of dough ball. Bake at 350º. For a crisper cookie, roll to 1/8" thick & bake 6 to 8 minutes. Bake on  middle or upper oven rack.

DIRECTIONS: (Frosting): Pour frosting mix (small bag) into bowl. For a tasty twist, top our pure vanilla frosting wit crushed peppermint candies. Sprinkle on top while glaze is still warm.
