Here at Dilettante, third-generation Master Chocolatier Dana Taylor Davenport uses master gourmet chocolate formulas selected from century old recipe notebooks. The historic chocolate recipes were crafted by the chocolatier's grandfather, Earl Remington Davenport and his great-uncle, Julius Rudolph Franzen. Both gentlemen were Master Chocolatier and Pastry Chef to the crowned heads of Europe. Dana Davenport has kept these time-honored chocolate candy making recipes alive by using the traditional formulas as the base for Dilettante Chocolate Truffles, chocolate sauces and chocolate products.
Warm Weather Shipping Policy Effective May - September for all perishable products
It is very important to us that you receive all of your products at the peak of their perfection. Many of our products are heat sensitive and need special care when shipped in warm weather. This is why during the warmer months of the year we implement our Warm Weather Shipping Policy. Many of our products are perishable in temperatures above 80°F. To avoid spoilage due to high temperatures, we take special care of your order by chilling each package that may encounter warm temperatures. Your order is placed in an insulated box, along with an icepack to keep the product(s) at the perfect temperature during shipping. This protective treatment lasts for only 48 hours under normal conditions. This means that in order for you to receive your perishable products in their best condition, we must restrict the total delivery time to no more than 48 hours. Therefore, if temperatures in your area exceed 80°F, Expedited Shipping must be selected as your shipping option to ensure your product arrives without melting.
All shipments originate from Kent, Washington. Please note that orders are not processed on Weekends or Holidays as our transportation partners are closed on those days. Orders subject to our Warm Weather Shipping Policy only ship Monday through Wednesday via our 2-day Expedited Shipping. Orders placed after 11am Wednesday through Sunday will be held for processing until the following Monday. When your order ships, you will receive an email with the transportation method and tracking number. Please use this information to estimate the delivery date. Warm weather shipping rates are in effect May through September for all perishable chocolate and non-chocolate products; and may be extended beyond these months depending on location and weather.
Packages left outside in warm areas are likely to suffer heat damage. We strongly encourage all customers who are not at home to receive shipments to have their shipments delivered to a business address.

Sensational taste and exquisitely divine truffles with sprinkles of love (rather, candy canes). I received an impressive gift box (7 tiers) for Christmas, and I have been savoring the flavors every since. These truffles are in-line with some of the most delicious truffles I have ever paired up with my taste buds. Hands down, I give them a five. Hopefully, they’ll be available year-round.

I purchased these candy cane chocolate truffles at COSTO during Christmas and I found them to be excellent and I went back to buy more. The purchase price at Costo was $4.99.
Got these as part of a gift basket for the holidays. Great balance of flavors...nice creamy chocolate with a touch of mint. Thought the mint would be overwhelming but they're perfect!

I purchased 10 bags of this candy in December from a retailer. I gave 9 bags away as Christmas gifts. I am so sad that I gave all but one bag away. They are one of the best candies I've ever eaton. My daughter and I had been searching for them since we purchased them last month. I finally ask one of the individuals I gave them to as a gift to please let me see her bag to get the contact information. I give them a high five with a 5 star rating. Both my daughter and havr been asked where did we buy them. The eighteen people we gave them to keep asking for more. Thank you so much. I had a wonderful Holiday and enjoyed every single candy cane truffle treat in my bag. The idea of candy cane crunched with cholate truffle was an excellent idea.

LOVE these. I hope Costco will carry them again next Christmas. They are just delicious.
These are incredibly addictive. I expected that the candy cane chunks would be big, but it is so finely ground that the texture is more like that of the rice crispies in a Crunch bar. They taste like Andes mints, but are super creamy and just better in every way. Everyone who has had some has wanted more, even friends that don't really like chocolate. I loved them so much that I went back to Costco and bought a dozen bags to give out. I will be on the lookout for more Dilettante products for sure.

I don't know what is in these, but we cannot stop eating them! Taking them as hostess gifts this weekend.
These are by far the best truffles I have ever put in my mouth! Wonderfully creamy then a nice wee bit of crunch from the very finely chopped candy canes. Mmmm. Keep 'em coming!
