TruffleCremes Formula 23 is a wonderfully delightful "light" chocolate piece, wrapped in green foil. We flavor our milk chocolate truffle creme with pure Oil of Peppermint and enrobe it with a dipping chocolate made from a blend of West African and South American cacao (35%).
Warm Weather Shipping Policy
Warm weather shipping rates are in effect June through September for all perishable chocolate and non-chocolate perishable products; and may be extended beyond these months depending on location.
If temperatures in your area exceed 75°F, expedited shipping must be chosen as your shipping option to ensure your product arrives without melting.
It is very important to us that you receive all of your products at the peak of their perfection. Many of our products are perishable in temperatures above 75°F. To avoid spoilage due to high temperatures, we chill each package that may encounter extreme temperatures. This protective treatment lasts for only 48 hours under normal conditions. Therefore, in order for you to receive your products in their best condition, we must restrict the total delivery time to no more than 48 hours for many of our products.
All shipments originate from Kent, Washington. Please note that orders are not processed on Weekends or Holidays as our transportation partners are closed on those days. Orders subject to Heat Restriction only ship Monday through Wednesday for arrival on Wednesday through Friday respectively. Orders placed after this time will be held for processing until the following Monday. When your order ships, you will receive an email with the transportation method and tracking number. Please use this information to estimate the delivery date.
Packages sitting outside in the heat could damage the perishable chocolate. We strongly encourage all customers who are not home to receive shipments to have their shipments delivered to a business address.

We received a Dilettante Truffle on our pillow at the McCall House in Ashland, Oregon where we had gone for the Shakespeare Festival. OMG!!! There is nothing I can add to the other reviews. I only hope I can find them at my local Costco store!
I really thought they were Frango Mints!!!
Having grown up in Chicago I was addicted to the Frango Mints at Marshall Fields. I was so dismayed when the company was sold and Macy''s stopped carrying the product in some of their Illinois and New Mexico stores and only carried the sugar-free version on their website. BUT...Dilletante''s Peppermint Double Chocolate Truffle Creams are so absolutely AWESOME that I can continue to feed my obsession unabated!!!
I think this is some of the finest chocolate I have ever eaten. As a reward, I let one melt in my mouth without chewing, just letting the chocolate mint flavor treat my tongue. Because it is so rich and full flavored, I don''t need much to satisfy myself.
Now that I have found out where I can buy them year ''round, I will not have to wait for Christmas at Costco.
I also discovered this product at Costco as Christmas gifts for other people, but I bought two jars for myself. After Christmas I went back to Costco and was told they sold out a week before Christmas. I''m going to let Costco know that they should stock year round, not just at Christmas time. Fantastic product with just enough mint, and not too sweet. Just right!!!
I got hooked on this by COSTCO. After giving it to friends for Xmas, they requested it each year. Seems that COSTCO is no longer going to carry it and with an approx. $10 gift limit, looks like my easy gift is gone. With COSTCO constantly running out, I bought 6 tubs for myself to make sure I had some to last until winter. The flavor reminds me of some candy I had as a kid as a "reward". No, I''m not 250 lbs. I just like mild mint chocolate. I''ll try to make smooth "mint" fudge but it won''t be as good. I put in a comment at COSTCO. Show me a man that gives his wife good chocolate every couple of months and I''ll show you a happy couple. (married 36 years and looking for good chocolate). I''m rating it high for the quality, quantity, price, and packaging (individually wrapped for freshness).
