Raspberry Truffle Cremes are a wonderfully delightful "light" chocolate piece wrapped in pretty pink foil. We flavor the center with essence of real raspberries and enrobe it with a blend of West African and Ecuadorian cacaos (35%). Here at Dilettante, third-generation Master Chocolatier Dana Taylor Davenport uses master gourmet chocolate formulas selected from century old recipe notebooks. The historic chocolate recipes were crafted by the chocolatier's grandfather, Earl Remington Davenport and his great-uncle, Julius Rudolph Franzen. Both gentlemen were Master Chocolatier and Pastry Chef to the crowned heads of Europe. Dana Davenport has kept these time-honored chocolate candy making recipes alive by using the traditional formulas as the base for Dilettante Chocolate Truffles, chocolate sauces and chocolate products. Warm Weather Shipping Policy Effective May - September for all perishable products
It is very important to us that you receive all of your products at the peak of their perfection. Many of our products are heat sensitive and need special care when shipped in warm weather. This is why during the warmer months of the year we implement our Warm Weather Shipping Policy. Many of our products are perishable in temperatures above 80°F. To avoid spoilage due to high temperatures, we take special care of your order by chilling each package that may encounter warm temperatures. Your order is shipped with an icepack and special packaging to keep the product(s) at the perfect temperature during shipping. This protective treatment lasts for only 48 hours under normal conditions. This means that in order for you to receive your perishable products in their best condition, we must restrict the total delivery time to no more than 48 hours. Therefore, if temperatures in your area exceed 80°F, Expedited Shipping must be selected as your shipping option to ensure your product arrives without melting.
All shipments originate from Kent, Washington. Please note that orders are not processed on Weekends or Holidays as our transportation partners are closed on those days. Orders subject to our Warm Weather Shipping Policy only ship Monday through Wednesday via our 2-day Expedited Shipping. Orders placed after 11am Wednesday through Sunday will be held for processing until the following Monday. When your order ships, you will receive an email with the transportation method and tracking number. Please use this information to estimate the delivery date. Warm weather shipping rates are in effect May through September for all perishable chocolate and non-chocolate products; and may be extended beyond these months depending on location and weather.
Packages left outside in warm areas are likely to suffer heat damage. We strongly encourage all customers who are not at home to receive shipments to have their shipments delivered to a business address.

Wow. These are so good. While I am a huge chocolate lover, I don't normally like fruit-flavored chocolates. However, I'll make an exception for these. As someone else said, the flavor is natural and far from overwhelming. It's just right. And the texture of these truffles is just amazing. I received a box of these as a gift this weekend and, aside from sharing a few, have already gone through almost the entire box. It doesn't help that I'm eight months pregnant and craving sweets. Keep these away! Actually, please don't.
I was reluctant to try these at first, since so many raspberry flavored chocolate leaves a terrible chemical aftertaste, but these are fantastic! Very natural hint of raspberry that is very well balanced with the double milk chocolate. Especially at the very reasonable price! Only suggestion is to also create an orange flavor and perhaps ginger....

Wow!! I found these truffles at a TJ Maxx store in NH. I was never a big fan of Truffles until I had these. Wow! The milk chocolate is excellent and the hint of raspberry... very fine.

I found this little known truffle in a Wal-Mart in Derby,CT. After I went through the entire stock, I traveled to other Wal-Mart's in my area but none of them carried this brand at all, let alone the Double Milk Chocolate Raspberry Truffle which is Out of This World yummy!! Now that my local Wal-Mart has again stocked their shelves with about 6 boxes (sadly) I have again gone through their stock and have finally decided to order directly from the manufacturer because otherwise I'll have to wait another two months b4 Wal-Mart re-stocks their shelves. Unfortunately, no other store that I am aware of sells these little gems.
Anyway, I highly suggest that you Buy em people, you will not regret it. Trust me. In fact, you'll like them so much you should just buy two boxes. Me, I think I'll buy a case!! TTFN
