Dilettante Mocha Café


Chocolate and coffee, coffee and chocolate. The beverage menu offered in our Mocha Cafés centers on The Dilettante Mocha, a traditional mix of espresso coffee and chocolate. We make our mochas with real chocolate, melted in pots right next to the espresso machine.

You may choose your mocha to be made with 63% dark chocolate, 41% milk chocolate, or 34% white chocolate, or with our signature Ephemere Sauce (a ganache made with cream, butter, and chocolate). We also offer variations with cocoa & Turkish spice mix. Teas are also on the menu.

Dilettante roasts it's own coffee. The blend (regular and decaf) has been developed to make both outstanding lattes and cappuccinos, as well as matching the chocolates to make the best possible mocha.

The Dilettante Frappe, a mix of iced milk and Ephemere Sauce, is a specialty of the house. We also make the frappe with fruit flavors.

The pastry menu includes our signature cakes (Rigo Jancsi--Hungarian Chocolate Mousse Cake, our TiraMisu, as well as an assortment of other fine pastries), lighter pastries, which include chocolate brownies, lemon bars, pecan bars, Russian Tea Cakes, and bakery items, muffins, bagels & scones.
