This 60-pound (5 gallon) pail of honey is a wonderful solution for those who love to enjoy honey year-round. The long shelf-life of this honey makes it the perfect choice to buy in bulk. With proper storing techniques, this honey can last for over a year, tasting clean and fresh the entire time. This bulk pail provides the best possible value for this popular honey varietal.

Anna’s gourmet honey products are made differently, using 100% pure and natural honey without any preservatives or artificial ingredients added. Unlike other honey a person might find at a supermarket, Anna’s uses special filtration methods to remove bee parts and wax pieces while preserving the flavor and quality of the honey.

Every drop of honey in this pail comes from the nectar of clover flowers throughout the Pacific Northwest. This honey is single-origin, meaning the bees gather the nectar from one type of flower when producing this flavor. Similar to fine wine, this honey retains a distinct color, aroma, and flavor profile. Out of all honey varietals, clover honey is one of the most popular due to a subtle and sweet taste.

For gourmet honey experiences for months on end, nothing compares to Anna’s Honey.

Suggested Storage:

Product shelf life is reliant on storage conditions and is highly variable. Anna's honey products should be stored under cool, dry environments and in a humidity-controlled location. Industry standards for honey products, when stored in optimal conditions, is 18 months from the date of packaging.

Crystallization:

What is crystallization? Crystallization is when honey takes on a semi-solid crystallized state due to high sugar content. This is completely natural and does not affect the quality of the honey. Crystallization is not an indicator of shelf life. The rate at which honey will crystallize is based on several factors including floral notes, moister content and storage conditions. To bring honey back to a liquid state, gently warm in water until the honey returns to it’s liquid state. Properly stored honey will remain in a liquid state for 90 days.

Washington State's premiere honey company, Anna's Honey produces five varieties of gourmet raw honey featuring flavors derived from Pacific Northwest floral plants.

The original company, Anna's Gourmet, founded by Arlene Page in 1980, was named after Arlene's great grandmother who settled in the Kittitas Valley region of Washington State during the 1880's. Anna's Honey products contain no artificial preservatives or additives. We use only farm fresh, hive-ripened, 100% pure US Grade A raw honey.

At Anna's Honey, pure honey is filtered at 200 microns which lets the natural pollens come through to give you a rich, smooth texture. With over 30 years of experience, Anna's Honey believes that leaving the bee parts and wax remnants in the honey is detrimental to the purity of the product. The wax capping serves as a protective barrier from impurities getting into the honey while in the hive. So, during production the wax capping is removed and melted down for beeswax.

Anna's honey is carefully tested for purity and retains low moisture for a thicker consistency. Anna's Honey uses this process to give you a richer, creamier, and satisfying natural honey.

Great product for great price

My family and I use a lot of honey, from our teas, desserts, to just everyday savory dishes. This bulk clover honey has good mild flavor and has enough to last us about a year or so. We are already on our second bucket! Towards year end, the honey starts crystalizing around the sides and bottom of bucket but it's nothing that some muscle grease and sturdy utensils won't fix. We suspect that this is due to dehydration and the temperature being colder in our pantry.
